Father’s Day is always special at Chattanooga Market. It’s an easy day for families to treat Dad (and themselves) to the things he loves most: good food, live music and a cold brew.
The Chattanooga Market has “upped” the beer selections this season too, Dad can find many local and regional brews on tap to suit his palette. Food trucks will be offering favorites like Jade Lockhart’s “Nasty Larry”—a huge grilled-on-the-spot burger topped with bacon, pimento cheese and a few other highly caloric ingredients. It’s doubtful anyone could go hungry, the Market is home to over a dozen food trucks, all with a different culinary flair.
Market fans will be pleased with the selection this week’s fresh produce: tomatoes, peaches, onions, lettuces, squashes, okra and much more. Father’s Day ideas include hand carved knives, leather wallets, Hoff and Pepper—for some grilling and marinating sauces and Chattanooga Beard Company will have some unique gifts as well.
Live music on the EPB stage Sunday, June 16th:
Rick Rushing and the Blue Strangers 12:30 – 3:00
COLLEGEDALE MARKET IS ALL ABOUT DADS TOO
Collegedale Market is also open Sundays, and Father’s Day will be a special one. There will be plenty of vendors, including NV Food Food Truck and free hot dogs off the grill. Area folks can stop by for a cold beverage and celebrate dad with a local handmade gift.
