Great American Weekend at Chattanooga Market

Two popular Chattanooga Market events are set to happen on one fantastic Labor Day Sunday. In it’s 4th year, the Run of Honor will take place Sunday morning of September 3rd, at 8am, to support and pay tribute to those who keep us safe and take care of our families. The certified 8k course takes a tour through scenic Southside, up Main Street and around the break-taking Chattanooga National Cemetery before finishing right on the 50 yard line at Finley Stadium with fanfare and patriotism.

The run benefits both the Rock City Fraternal Order of Police and the Fort Campbell Fisher House, who serves to take care of families with injured service men and women. Registration for the race is open until this Friday and can be done quickly at Walkers and walk-up registrants are welcome as well.

After the race finish, Market patrons will enjoy a collection of the areas best car collections. The Hot Rod and Auto Show will take place from 11am-4pm on Carter Street giving auto enthusiasts a chance to see up close and under the hoods. Car owners will be on site engaging and showing off their treasures. It’s a great family event—fun for all.

Live music is a staple each week and two live performances will be on the EPB Stage this Sunday.
